How to Use the App

Before you start, read Use with care. The app shows the same points the first time it opens.

1. Allow Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth on and, when the app asks, allow it to use Bluetooth (on Android this is called Nearby devices). The app needs it to talk to the Controller and can't work as a remote without it.

2. Pair with the Controller

Your installer usually does this for you. To pair yourself:

  1. In the app, open the menu, then About, and tap the app version 10 times.
  2. Choose Pair with Controller.
  3. On the Controller, hold BTN0 for 3 seconds until its LED flickers fast.
  4. Tap Pair and hold the phone right next to the Controller.
  5. Accept the “Pair?” prompt that the phone shows.

Pairing replaces the Controller the phone was paired with before, if any. If you remove the pairing in the phone's Bluetooth settings, pair again the same way.

3. Operate the ramp

The home screen has four keys: Up, Down, Unfold and Fold up. Press and hold a key to move the lift; let go to stop.

The keys work while the app is open on the screen. The icon at the top shows whether the Controller is connected. Under Settings you can choose the theme and a short vibration when a key is pressed and released.

4. Update the Controller

Only while the vehicle is parked. The update runs over Bluetooth and takes a few minutes.

  1. Make sure the phone has an internet connection.
  2. Open the menu, then About, tap the app version 10 times, and choose Update Controller firmware.
  3. Keep the phone next to the Controller and the app open until the update has finished.

If the update stops, the Controller waits in update mode and the lift can't be used until the update is finished: tap Resume. If the Controller doesn't respond, hold its button while you power it on, then tap Find Controller in update mode.

Something not working?

Stop, use the physical remote, and contact support.
